Cath Lab Nurse

As a Cath Lab Nurse at KIMSHEALTH, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and other interventional procedures. - Performing comprehensive patient assessments, including cardiac and neurological evaluations. - Administering medications, including sedatives and pain management agents, as per protocol. - Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment during procedures. - Assisting in the preparation and positioning of patients for procedures. - Assisting cardiologists and other team members during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including setting up sterile fields, handling instruments, and operating specialized equipment. - Ensuring the availability and proper functioning of all necessary equipment and supplies. - Maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to infection control policies and procedures. - Preparing and managing medications used during procedures. - Assessing patients" vital signs and lab data to determine emergency intervention needs. - Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and revise treatment plans based on identified needs and assessment data. - Documenting patients" medical history and assessment findings, treatment plans, interventions, and outcome/plan revisions. - Demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, the management of central venous catheters, and venepuncture. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Nurse from any reputed accredited hospital.
