Category Manager - Kids Apparel

As a Category Manager at Popstation, a fashion foundry dedicated to fostering India's emerging apparel brands, you will play a crucial role in developing and expanding purpose-driven brands, particularly in the Kidswear vertical. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing a comprehensive category strategy for the 0-8 years segment in alignment with the brand objectives. - Leading the seasonal range planning in collaboration with the design and sourcing team. - Conducting market and competitor analysis to identify trends and consumer demand gaps for effective product strategy. - Building and managing pricing architecture, product mix, and lifecycle planning. - Driving sell-through, managing inventory rotation, and taking necessary actions on slow-moving items. - Coordinating closely with design, merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure timelines and targets are consistently met. - Monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, and presenting actionable insights to the management. To excel in this position, candidates should have: - At least 3-5 years of experience in apparel category management, preferably with expertise in kidswear. - Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills. - Exposure to product development and go-to-market cycles. - Proficiency in Excel, data tools, and collaborative platforms. - A proactive approach, a genuine passion for creating exceptional products for children, and excellent cross-functional coordination abilities.
