Job Description

Role Overview: As a Procurement Specialist (S&G) at Siemens Energy, you will independently manage end-to-end procurement for a defined portfolio of S&G commodities. This strategic and operational role will require strong ownership, analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with various departments within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the full lifecycle of procurement for assigned S&G categories including defining annual saving opportunities, driving sourcing events, and developing commodity strategies. - Lead price benchmarking, negotiations, and manage contracts end-to-end while ensuring compliance with global frameworks. - Manage supplier relationships, performance KPIs, and drive supplier onboarding and qualification processes. - Work closely with internal stakeholders across different departments to align procurement strategies and educate on governance and compliance requirements. - Utilize digital procurement tools efficiently, maintain data accuracy, and identify digitalization opportunities for improved efficiency. - Integrate sustainability considerations into supplier selection, ensure compliance with regulations, and support sustainability initiatives. Qualifications: - Graduate (Engineering/Commerce/Supply Chain); MBA preferred. - 3-7 years of hands-on experience in indirect procurement/category management. - Strong SAP experience required; exposure to Fieldglass is an advantage. Skills & Competencies: - Strong negotiation and commercial skills. - Analytical and data-driven mindset (Excel/Power BI). - Clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and conflict-handling ability. - Ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership. - Strong compliance orientation and attention to detail.
