Category Head - Noida

As the Category Head at our organization located in Noida, Sec-142, you will be instrumental in driving business growth through your strategic mindset, leadership skills, and deep understanding of category management. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive category strategies aligned with overall business objectives, executing strategic initiatives to enhance performance and market presence, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure successful strategy implementation. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, collaborate with product development teams, and assess product performance to optimize the assortment. Financial planning and analysis will be a crucial aspect of your role, as you will be responsible for managing the category budget, conducting financial analyses for cost optimization and revenue enhancement, and implementing pricing strategies to achieve financial targets. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing category team, foster a collaborative work environment, and conduct regular team meetings to set performance expectations. Collaboration with the marketing team will be essential for developing and executing effective promotional campaigns, increasing category awareness, and analyzing marketing campaign performance. Furthermore, you will coordinate with the channel/internal sales force to implement effective marketing strategies and achieve results. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field, and have proven experience in category management with a focus on strategic planning. Strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, analytical mindset, excellent leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills are also essential for success in this position.
