Are you ready to power procurement excellence across Indias EPC and project management landscape? Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping supplier strategy and mechanical category performance. Location: Mumbai, India Experience: 1015 years Qualification: Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Key Responsibilities: Lead the full-cycle procurement process from RFQ to Purchase Request for mechanical categories in line with project budgets. Collaborate closely with Project Execution, Quality, and Logistics teams to enhance Quality, Delivery, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Implement multi-sourcing and supplier footprint strategies under Commodity Manager guidance. Manage strong supplier relationships to drive superior performance and innovation. Champion cost reduction, value engineering, and technology upgrades through supplier engagement. Negotiate RFQs to finalize optimal TCO outcomes . Oversee commodity and annual price agreements aligned with market trends. Track and report cost avoidances and depreciation management . Travel 10–12% within India to engage suppliers directly. Technical Skills Required: Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings . In-depth knowledge of fabricated vessels and components including: Reactors, Crystallizers, Deodorizers, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Rotary Valves, Vapor Scrubbers, Chain Conveyors, and more. Soft Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and presentation skills Proven negotiation expertise Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence IT & ERP Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Project Management tools (D365) Experience with ERP systems and data analytics
