Role Overview: As the Procurement Manager, you will oversee production operations within an assigned territory in Rajkot. Your role involves ensuring that production output meets quality, cost, and delivery standards. Strong leadership, process optimization, and people management skills are essential to scale production in alignment with business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end production planning and execution, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. - Prepare and monitor production schedules, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely order completion. - Manage capacity utilization across plants/units to optimize output without compromising quality. - Proactively coordinate with sourcing and supply chain teams for uninterrupted production. - Implement lean manufacturing practices to minimize waste and improve overall equipment efficiency. - Enforce Standard Operating Procedures for consistent production activities and reduced operational risks. - Monitor and control production costs, energy usage, and downtime for efficiency improvement. - Deploy tech-enabled monitoring tools for real-time production data tracking and performance dashboards. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for a safe workplace culture. - Establish contingency plans for equipment breakdowns, supply chain disruptions, or workforce challenges. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field (MBA preferred). - 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing/production operations, preferably in foundry, casting, metals, or allied industries. - Proven experience in managing multi-site or territory-based production units. - Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen practices. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with a hands-on approach.,
