Job Title: Sweet Line Cashier
Industry: Retail / FMCG / Food & Beverage
Location: Store, Bakery, Confectionery, or Sweet Shop

Job Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling & Transactions
• Operate the cash register and handle payments via cash, card, or digital wallets.
• Provide accurate billing and issue receipts to customers.
• Maintain records of daily transactions and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
• Customer Service
• Greet customers and assist them with purchases.
• Answer customer queries regarding prices, product availability, and offers.
• Handle complaints and resolve billing discrepancies politely.
• Product Knowledge & Sales Support
• Stay updated on the available sweets, desserts, and special offers.
• Suggest products to customers and promote ongoing discounts.
• Weigh and pack sweets as per customer requests.
• Stock & Display Management
• Ensure that the display counters are stocked and well-presented.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for replenishments.
• Check the expiry dates of products and remove outdated items.
• Store Maintenance & Hygiene
• Keep the billing counter clean and organized.
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines while handling food items.

Skills & Qualifications:Educational Requirement:

• High school diploma preferred but not always required.
• Basic computer literacy for handling POS -Point of Sale systems.

Key Skills:

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in retail, cashiering, or a similar role.
• Experience in a bakery, confectionery, or FMCG retail outlet is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
