Cashier

Lolino Cafe is a fast-growing F&B brand with 5 branches across the region, known for serving premium cakes, fresh creams, authentic chaats, and delicious continental dishes. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality, outstanding customer service, and a vibrant dining experience. We are currently hiring an experienced and professional Cashier to join our team at our Thalassery branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and reconcile daily sales at the end of each shift.
• Greet and assist customers with professionalism, ensuring a smooth and pleasant checkout experience.
• Work closely with the service and kitchen team to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
• Monitor stock levels at the counter and alert the supervisor of shortages.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the cashier and counter area at all times.
• Assist in promoting daily specials, offers, and new menu items to customers.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the branch manager immediately.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of cashiering experience in a café, restaurant, or F&B outlet.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to handle fast-paced service hours with accuracy and efficiency.
• Honest, punctual, and customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in F&B retail chains.
• Knowledge of upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Multilingual ability (Malayalam, English, Hindi preferred).
