Cash Application Analyst

As a Cash Application Analyst at Othain Group, a global IT and BP Solutions and Services Company, your primary responsibility will be to review and approve entries, transactions, reconciliations, and reports. You will ensure compliance with accounting and finance principles, policies, processes, controls, and contract documents. Your role will involve processing and preparing complex cash application transactions and related matters within the assigned functional group, providing daily cash reconciliations to Treasury and Business units. Additionally, you will process and prepare complex transactions and invoicing, providing support to the assigned functional group or specific business unit. In this position, you will play a key role in training and mentoring new and/or more junior level employees, managing Issue Resolution cases, and working on New Transitions. Your responsibilities will include assisting with billing preparations on complex issues, maintaining various reports, and ensuring timely updates. You will also be responsible for preparing and overviewing process metrics and KPIs, promoting a quality focus on all activities, and contributing to continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives. Furthermore, you will conduct investigations and root cause analysis, working across multiple processes as required within the workgroup. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Commerce or Finance with a minimum of 3+ years of working experience in Cash Applications. Proficiency in working with ERP systems, specifically Dynamics 365, will be considered an added advantage. You should possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent computer skills, and familiarity with Excel and MS applications. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.,
