Career Guidance Counselor

As an Academic Counsellor at Xylem Learning in Mankavu, Kozhikode, you will play a crucial role in guiding students and parents towards making informed academic decisions. Your responsibilities will include: - Engaging with prospective students and parents through structured outbound and inbound calls using the provided lead database. - Understanding each student's academic background, strengths, and aspirations to recommend the most suitable programs and courses. - Presenting and promoting Xylem Learning's offerings confidently and persuasively. - Building trust-based relationships with students and parents through personalized counselling and consistent follow-ups. - Achieving or surpassing monthly and quarterly enrollment and revenue targets. - Maintaining accurate and updated records of all communications, follow-ups, and enrollments in the CRM system. - Collaborating with academic, marketing, and operations teams to stay informed about current programs, offers, and organizational updates. - Providing actionable feedback to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and overall counselling effectiveness. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in any discipline (mandatory). - 2 years of experience in academic counselling, student advisory, or sales preferably within the education or EdTech sector. - Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed enrollment or sales targets. Key Skills: - Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities. - Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach. - Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive mindset. - Adaptable and solution-focused in a dynamic environment. - Proficiency in Malayalam preferred; good command of English is desirable.
