Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Car Software Tuner & Coder to develop, modify, and optimize vehicle software systems for enhanced performance, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate should have strong ECU tuning expertise, hands-on automotive understanding, and proficiency in coding and diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ECU remapping, including fuel maps, ignition, boost pressure, torque limits, and transmission behavior.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and software-related issues in vehicles.
• Write, modify, and optimize vehicle control algorithms for performance, drivability, and safety.
• Use tuning tools such as Autotuner, etc.
• Conduct dyno runs and road tests to validate tuning changes.
• Maintain detailed logs, version updates, and documentation for all tuned files.
• Ensure compliance with safety, emissions, and OEM standards wherever required.
• Collaborate with mechanical teams to support hardware upgrades (turbo, intake, exhaust, injectors, etc.).
• Research new vehicle models, ECUs, and software protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ECU architecture, CAN protocols, and automotive electronics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools (OBD scanners, dataloggers).
• Ability to interpret sensor data, logs, AFR, boost, timing, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Automotive Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with dyno tuning.
• Knowledge of modern vehicles including turbo-petrol, diesel, hybrid, and performance platforms.
