Overview The Capex-Opex Manager plays a critical role in an organizations financial health by overseeing capital expenditures (Capex) and operational expenditures (Opex). This position is vital for ensuring that the companys financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to drive growth and maintain operational excellence. The ideal candidate will blend analytical skills with financial expertise to assess and manage expenses while identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimizing resource utilization. This individual collaborates closely with various departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives. By leading the companys CapEx and OpEx initiatives, the Capex-Opex Manager ensures that investments yield maximum returns and operational expenditures remain within budget constraints, thereby directly contributing to the companys profitability and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the annual CapEx and OpEx budgets. Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Coordinate with project managers to evaluate the financial viability of capital projects. Conduct financial modeling and forecasting for future expenditures. Monitor and report on CapEx and OpEx performance against budgets. Evaluate and approve capital budget requests and expenditures. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Lead financial reviews and post-project evaluations. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to maintain accurate financial records. Implement best practices for financial planning and analysis. Provide training and guidance to staff on budget management. Engage with stakeholders to communicate financial strategies and outcomes. Manage risks associated with capital and operational expenses. Prepare presentations for executive meetings regarding budgetary concerns. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management roles. Proven experience in CapEx and OpEx planning and management. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools. Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Experience with budget management and forecasting. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems. Exceptional analytical and numerical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in risk assessment and management.
