Capabilities & Insights Analyst - Banking & Insurance

As a Capabilities & Insights Analyst at McKinsey, you will be a part of the Panorama Financial Institutions and Insights Consulting (PFIC) team, focusing on designing and implementing scalable AI-driven solutions for the Banking & Insurance Practice. Your role will be based in Gurgaon, collaborating with a diverse global network of professionals spread across 25+ countries. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting primary and secondary research within PFIC to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions, contributing to the development of proprietary assets and knowledge. You will collaborate with project managers, business experts, software engineers, and data scientists to deliver Gen AI projects aimed at addressing complex challenges in the Banking & Insurance sector. Working cross-functionally, you will design and implement impactful, reliable, and reusable Generative AI solutions at scale. Your role will involve partnering with internal stakeholders and CST teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Additionally, you will focus on building scalable applications and infrastructure within PFIC teams, emphasizing robustness, modularity, and reproducibility in the context of Generative AI. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving innovation and transformation within the Banking & Insurance industry, unlocking new opportunities for efficiency, customer engagement, and risk management through the application of Generative AI. By enabling internal teams to deliver advanced AI-driven solutions, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of clients. To excel in this role, you are expected to possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Ideally, you should have 2 - 4 years of experience in a techno-functional role within sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, or Technology. Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, along with experience in developing and scaling Generative AI agents, will be essential. Moreover, familiarity with deep learning, Gen AI frameworks, HTML/Front end design, and API integration is preferred. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as DevOps practices, will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills are crucial, along with an entrepreneurial mindset, professional attitude, and service orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary, enabling you to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, thereby contributing to the success of AI-driven initiatives within the PFIC team at McKinsey.,
