Position Overview

The Camp Boss is responsible for the smooth operation and management of the workers' accommodation (camp) for LAMCO Steel Manufacturing Company. This role ensures that all camp facilities are well-maintained, hygienic, and compliant with health, safety, and company standards. The Camp Boss acts as the primary point of contact for employees residing in the camp and coordinates with HR, Administration, and Facility Management to ensure a comfortable living environment for the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Camp Management
• Oversee daily operations of the labor camp and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the camp.
• Staff & Resident Welfare
• Act as a liaison between employees and HR/Administration for welfare-related issues.
• Monitor food quality, catering services, and ensure meals meet company standards.
• Address grievances, conflicts, and emergencies within the camp promptly.
• Health, Safety & Compliance
• Implement health and safety guidelines in the camp and conduct periodic inspections.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and labor accommodation standards.
• Maintain first-aid kits, fire safety equipment, and coordinate evacuation drills.
• Inventory & Resource Management
• Maintain records of camp supplies, furniture, and equipment.
• Monitor utilities usage (water, electricity) and ensure cost-efficient operations.
• Prepare periodic reports on camp occupancy, expenses, and maintenance needs.
• Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with HR and Admin for onboarding and departure of employees.
• Prepare monthly reports on camp activities, issues, and resolutions.
• Ensure smooth coordination with facility vendors, contractors, and service providers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Camp Boss / Camp Incharge in a manufacturing, construction, or large-scale industrial setup.
