Job Description

The Cambridge Coordinator will be responsible for leading, monitoring, and coordinating the academic delivery of the Cambridge curriculum (Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE/O-Level, and A-Level) across all schools in the Cambridge group. This role is based at the Central Office and involves close coordination with school principals, subject leads, and teachers to ensure uniformity, quality, and compliance with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Oversight & Standardization:

  • Ensure the implementation of Cambridge curriculum across all levels:
  • Primary (Cambridge Primary Stage 1–6)
  • Lower Secondary (Cambridge Secondary Stage 7–9)
  • IGCSE / O-Level (Stage 10–11)
  • A-Level / AS Level (Stage 12–13)
  • Develop academic calendars, schemes of work, and pacing guides aligned with CAIE guidelines.
  • Coordinate uniform assessment practices and centralized examination systems.

2. Subject-Wise Coordination:

Assign and oversee subject leads/coordinators for the following key subject groups:

  • Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
  • Mathematics
  • English Language & Literature
  • Humanities: History, Geography, Global Perspectives
  • Languages (Second/Foreign): Urdu, French, Arabic, etc.
  • ICT / Computer Science
  • Business & Economics
  • Art & Design / Global Perspectives / PSHE

Each subject will have a designated resource person reporting to the central coordinator for monitoring delivery, training needs, and assessment moderation.

3. Training & Professional Development:

  • Plan and conduct teacher training programs and CAIE exam preparation workshops.
  • Provide subject-specific training support to educators across all school campuses.
  • Encourage and manage teacher registrations for CAIE-accredited PDQ (Professional Development Qualifications) and courses.

4. Academic Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor student performance data across schools and implement improvement strategies.
  • Conduct regular school visits for academic audits and classroom observations.
  • Ensure all schools are CAIE-compliant and prepared for Cambridge inspections or reviews.

5. Examination & Registration Management:

  • Coordinate student registration for Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS/A Level exams.
  • Liaise with British Council or CAIE exam boards for logistics and compliance.
  • Manage central records of entries, results, and analysis.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the Cambridge system (preferably in a leadership or coordinator role).
  • In-depth understanding of CAIE curriculum, assessment methods, and standards.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in curriculum planning tools and digital learning platforms.

Preferred:

  • Cambridge PDQ Certificate / Diploma
  • Experience in multi-campus school systems
  • Experience working with British Council or CAIE-affiliated roles

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
