Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This dual role will be instrumental in creating compelling visual content across various platforms, enhancing our school's brand identity, and effectively communicating our mission and activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for aesthetics, a flair for storytelling through visuals, and proficiency in industry-standard design and video editing software. Experience working within an educational setting is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

• Design and produce high-quality visual content for a range of platforms, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), website, email campaigns, digital displays, and print materials (brochures, flyers, posters, banners).
• Develop engaging and consistent visual identities for various school events, programs, and initiatives.
• Create infographics, presentations, and illustrations that simplify complex information and enhance communication.
• Ensure all graphic designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
• Collaborate with the marketing, admissions, and academic teams to understand design requirements and deliver impactful visual solutions.

Video Editing:

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging, and cohesive video content for promotional materials, event highlights, testimonials, educational content, and social media shorts (Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Add motion graphics, visual effects, titles, lower thirds, and animations to enhance video quality and storytelling.
• Select and incorporate appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to elevate the overall video experience.
• Optimize video content for different platforms and devices, ensuring high quality and efficient delivery.
• Assist with basic video shooting (e.g., school events, interviews) as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven work experience (minimum 2-3 years preferred) as a Graphic Designer and Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing both design and video editing skills.
• Previous experience working in a school, college, or educational institution is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
• Graphic Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Video Editing: Premiere Pro, After Effects.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

• Experience with motion graphics and 2D/3D animation.
• Knowledge of basic photography and lighting techniques.
• Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for video and graphic content.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
