• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and document development user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Leverage extensive Calypso Domain expertise to implement, develop, and extend Calypso to provide tailored solutions to meet business needs.
• Document on Confluence, provide KT sessions for the team, and give demos for implemented solutions and/or customizations introduced.
• Work closely with the Calypso Dev and BA teams to ensure the delivered functionality meets business requirements and delivers value.
• Collaborate with the QA team to advise on the solution and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop unit tests and regression tests (where applicable) for new functionality introduced.
• Participate in and facilitate peer code reviews of any changes introduced.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers to establish UiPath automated regression testing coverage for developed functionality (where applicable).

Requirements:

• General:

  • 10+ years of experience in a development position, with at least 3 years as a lead.
  • Experience mentoring a team of Software Developers.
  • Experience interfacing and soliciting requirements from end business users.
  • Familiarity with current CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with control management practices (e.g., Git/BitBucket) and experience performing peer reviews.
  • Understanding of operating systems, application security configurations, and best practices in Windows and UNIX environments.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes the initiative to thoroughly understand existing business processes, system integrations, and dependencies.
  • Ability to quickly grasp business concepts, objectives, and processes to establish trust and credibility with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence).
  • Experience working in SAFe Agile/agile framework.

• Calypso Specific:

  • Experience with Calypso versions 16.1 onwards, ideally with Calypso V17/V18.
  • Experience upgrading Calypso version for on-prem (non-SaaS) installations.
  • Recent hands-on experience customizing and developing on Calypso v16+ and up.
  • Comfort with overall Calypso infrastructure.
  • Familiar with Calypso APIs and experience customizing and extending Calypso.
  • Experience with any/all of the following areas in Calypso:
    • Bonds
    • Swaps
    • Money Market
    • Workflows & SDIs
    • Accounting
    • Task Station
    • Corporate Actions
    • Scheduled Tasks
    • ERS
    • Reporting
    • Static & Reference Data

• Financial Services:

  • Proficiency in Fixed Income, Derivatives, Advances, LCs, and Equity products, with the ability to clearly articulate their workings and lifecycle events.
  • Knowledge of Derivatives Clearing affirmation processes.
  • Understanding of MBS products and structures.
