Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Cafe Assistant to join our team in Changanacherry. The role involves customer service, food and beverage preparation, billing, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure an excellent café experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
• Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, tea, cold drinks) and light food items
• Assist in basic food preparation and plating
• Operate POS/billing system and handle cash or digital payments
• Maintain cleanliness of the café, counters, tables, and equipment
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Assist in stock checking and basic inventory management
• Handle customer queries and complaints politely
• Support the team during peak hours

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 10th / Plus Two preferred
• Basic knowledge of café or food service operations (training can be provided)
• Good communication skills in Malayalam;
• Pleasant personality with a customer-friendly attitude
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Physically fit to stand for long hours

Experience

• Freshers can apply
• Prior experience in a café, bakery, ice cream parlour, or restaurant is an advantage

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month (based on experience)
