Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Café Cook at L2E Café, located in Pune. The Café Cook will be responsible for preparing dishes using fresh and local ingredients, ensuring high-quality food presentation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and keeping up with inventory and stock levels. Additional responsibilities include creating and experimenting with café-style vegetarian and eggless recipes and collaborating closely with the team to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Cooks at L2E Café are also expected to adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications

Culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and plating techniques
Knowledge of vegetarian and eggless recipe development and preparation
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices
Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
Teamwork and communication skills to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Creativity in developing unique, café-friendly dishes
Prior experience in a café or restaurant kitchen is a plus
Interest in sustainable and locally-sourced food practices
