Position Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Café Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in food and beverage preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a warm and professional manner
• Take customer orders and operate the POS system
• Assist in making coffee and other beverages (barista training provided, if needed)
• Help prepare and serve food items
• Keep service and dining areas clean and tidy
• Clear tables, wash dishes, and manage cleaning tasks
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a café or hospitality role (preferred but not required)
• Friendly and approachable personality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Basic food handling knowledge (or willingness to obtain a certificate)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
