CAE LEAD STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Location - Pune

Exp Year - 7+years

Good working knowledge in Crash analysis of vehicle structure using CAE software tools LS-Dyna, Primer, Ansa or HYPERWORKS

OEM project experience is preferred.

Should have a knowledge on plastic/composite part design, manufacturing and molding processes

Should have CAE work experience in doing full vehicle crash simulation, meeting performance requirements as per regulations.

NVH and topology optimization experience in Nastran software

Should have good understanding of modelling BIW, Composites and Adhesives

Able to analyze the behavior of passenger/commercial vehicle BIW structure, Doors, chassis, restrain systems and car components in the defined tests conditions, prepare proposals and execute in an efficient and appropriate way for decision making or implementation

Excellent project management, interpersonal/communication skills, capability to establish relation with Auto OEM's program managers

Deep Technical analyses, problem solving and understanding related to vehicle FEA simulations (FEA methods, test requirements and related software's)

Knowledge on plastic part molding and plastic material/processing is a plus for the candidate

Capability to interpret FEA results and detailed technical report preparation.

Willing to travel to customer locations India

Role :

Lead OEM projects based on CAE simulation to meet future product and manufacturing requirements in vehicle safety, and optimization areas and develop light-weight structural solutions.

Position CAE based solution to Auto OEMs and drive programs with engineering core team.
