CAE Engineer Strength & Durability

As a CAE Engineer, your role will involve Vehicle Strength & Durability CAE Evaluation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing CAE Modelling tasks such as Mesh discretization, Assembly, Constraint & Load setting for automotive sub-systems, with a focus on components related to Body & Chassis Structure & Closures. - Conducting Strength & Durability analysis for both Linear & Non-Linear cases. - Analyzing results, understanding failure modes, and providing recommendations for meeting performance criteria. - Documenting results and effectively communicating with stakeholders including design and testing teams for implementing failure countermeasures. - Collaborating with Testing teams to analyze failures, correlate CAE results with physical testing outcomes, and enhance CAE models. - Assisting in the creation and assessment of Value Enhancement proposals. In terms of competency requirements, you should have: Technical / Functional skills: - Strong understanding of Strength of Materials, Machine design, and Fatigue principles. - Knowledge and experience in Finite Element Analysis, particularly in Body Structures & Closures CAE domain. - Basic understanding of Automotive Body & Sheet metal design. - Proficiency in Hypermesh software for CAE model preparation, Nastran & LS-Dyna software for analysis, and Hyperview & LS Pre-Post for post processing. - Familiarity with Fatigue evaluation tools such as FEMFAT, MSC Fatigue, NCode, and Multibody software like ADAMS. - Exposure to Optimization software like Optistruct and Mode Frontier. - Hands-on experience in physical testing and the ability to translate test conditions into CAE representation. - Capability to propose countermeasures for performance enhancement. Your educational qualifications should include a BE / B Tech degree (preferably in Mechanical) as essential, and an ME / M Tech (preferably in Mechanical Design or equivalent) as desirable. The job requires a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years of experience, with an age limit of up to 28 years.,
