Job Description

Role Overview: As a candidate with experience in Model build, you will be responsible for various tasks related to finite element analysis. Your role will involve hands-on experience with tools such as Hyper mesh, ANSA, and Primer. You will be expected to provide model build support to the CAE group for different components or sub-systems. Additionally, your strong knowledge in meshing BIW and plastic parts, as well as solid exa/Tetra meshing for solid parts, will be crucial for this role. Your expertise in model building and assembly for BIW, Closures, Engine, Powertrain, Suspension, Interiors, and exteriors from crash, Durability, and NVH domain perspectives will be highly valuable. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate a good understanding of finite element analysis - Utilize Hyper mesh, ANSA, and Primer for model building - Provide meshing (pre-processing) support to the CAE group - Mesh BIW and plastic parts effectively - Perform solid exa/Tetra meshing for solid parts - Build and assemble models for various components and sub-systems - Update existing reference meshed models based on CAD data changes - Update thickness and material based on Bill of Materials (BOM) - Cross-check connectivity, attachments, spot-welds, adhesives, etc., as per CAD data - Perform domain-specific pre-processing checks and deliver models to clients - Conduct debug zero millisecond/Modal runs to ensure error-free final deliverables - Possess good communication, report writing, technical documentation, and presentation skills Qualifications Required: - Experience in model building and finite element analysis - Proficiency in Hyper mesh, ANSA, Primer, Abaqus, Nastran, LS Dyna - Strong knowledge of meshing BIW, plastic parts, and solid parts - Ability to update models based on CAD data changes - Excellent communication and presentation skills Note: The job description does not contain any additional details about the company.,
