We are urgently hiring for - " Simulation Engineer Seats Structure - BS Seat System - LS Dyana for our Global MNC. ****Looking for - Immediate to 60 days notice period candidates **** Experience - 5+ yrs Location - Pune, Hinjewadi ( Work from Office ) JD - Simulation Engineer Seats Structure - BS Seat System Main Aim of Job Crash and Static analysis of ‘Seat Components’ and ‘Seats Structure’: Using ANSA software as pre-processor build FEA assemblies of Seat system in LS-Dyna deck profile for mechanism level and full Seats Structure level analysis. - Sub tasks include: Meshing, Weld & Bolt connections, Material update, Sets and contact update, penetration removal, loadcase setup, zero ms check run, loadcase calculation (static/dynamic strength in Dyna), checklist update, postprocess & report preparation, and deliver file to senior colleagues in Pune / Global counterpart. Duties – Crash and Static analysis of ‘Seat Components’ and ‘Seats Structure’: 1. Study the input work content, estimate the effort hours and prepare execution plan. 2. Perform meshing, material, sets, connections update as per Brose standard practices. 3. Build FE models of systems and subsystems using ANSA as per Brose modeling guidelines. 4. Check the file as per checklists, perform calculation. Post process results and prepare report. General: 5. Communicate to the team lead and counterparts about project progress in a timely manner. 6. Document the lessons learnt in projects and do knowledge sharing on regular basis. 7. Strong experience in Android (Kotlin, Java) and/or iOS (Swift, Objective-C) ; familiarity with React Native or CMP/KMP is a plus. Technical Deep understanding of mobile architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture), lifecycle management , background processing , and offline-first design. Strong debugging and profiling experience using tools like Android Profiler, Xcode Instruments , and Perfetto . Experience designing for app performance, reliability, and battery efficiency. Solid grasp of mobile CI/CD , feature flagging , crash analytics , A/B testing , and monitoring systems . Familiarity with mobile security practices (e.g., OAuth, JWT, secure storage, obfuscation) and compliance needs. Geometry Debugging: Ability to understand the 2D and 3D geometries and modify/correct them for the FE modeling using NX and other CAD softwares - Discuss with customer for any inputs and queries on the CAD geometries to avoid any ambiguities in project planning and execution FE Model Build: Convert the geometry files to the shell, T-shell and solid FE models as per the requirement using Hypermesh and ANSA - Should have strong skills in generating very high quality FE models as per project/program requirements - Possess mandatory knowledge on all the quality standards of the FE modeling with strong understanding of Engineering Judgement - Provide proper estimations and target timelines for the projects involving FE modeling with necessary resource planning and allocations Static & Modal Analysis in NASTRAN: Perform Modal,static and dynamic analysis using NASTRAN as per the project needs - Carefully assess the results and provide post processed reports with engineering/technology perspective solutions for the customer - Should have strong hand-calculation skills in Engineering Mechanics, Solid Mechanics and Rotor Dynamics Crash/Impact Evaluations: Extensive experience in working on Crash/dynamic analysis problems using LS-Dyna for 3D/2D FE models - Ability to handle any impact problem independently by creating input decks, and solving them using LS-Dyna solver with good debugging skills - Possess good knowledge on SMP and MPP solvers and their use-cases - Expertise on Post processing the output results and properly documenting them as per the problem needs for the customer. Development of restraint systems (seat belt, airbags,seats, steering column etc.) for meeting crashworthiness targets using CAE tools like LS-DYNA. 6.Create analysis report to highlight current status of performance target achievement and improvement required. 7. Establishing correlation between simulation model & test for fidderent crash loadcases. 8. Application of DOE techniques to solve crashworthiness problems. 9. Review crash simulation guidelines and create guidelines for new procedures/ simulations 10.Benchmarking study of competitors productsm. 11. Crash test data analysis for full vehicle, subsystem and component level tests. 12. Responsible for Consolidation & prioritization for styling, package & performance feasibilitie. 13. Good domain knowledge of vehicle interior systems like cockpit, steering, interior trims, seats. 14. Sound knowledge of vehicle passive safety systems and its function.
