The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple CAD tools, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical drawing standards, and excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.

Key Responsibilities

2D Drawing Generation:

2D engineering drawings

Siemens NX (Versions 8, 11, and 12)

Ensure drawings comply with industry and defense standards.

Electrical Layout & Schematic Drawings:

Develop electrical layouts and schematic diagrams using
ORCAD
.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to relevant electrical design codes.

Stakeholder Coordination & Approvals:

Visit and interact with organizations including
RCI, DSC, DGAD, DOS, DRDL, ASL
, and other relevant agencies.
Gather technical inputs, clarify requirements, and facilitate design approvals.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Prepare design reports and submit for internal and client reviews.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in multiple CAD tools (NX/SolidWorks/Solid Edge/Creo/AutoCAD).
Expertise in
ORCAD
for electrical schematic and layout preparation.
Strong understanding of
GD&T
/drafting standards and BOM generation.
Ability to read/interpret and convert solid models into precise 2D drawings.
Familiarity with
defense and aerospace
design documentation standards.
Good interpersonal skills for on-site visits and stakeholder communication.
Self-driven/detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to travel for data collection and design approvals.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles.
Prior experience in defense/aerospace projects preferred.
