CAD Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create

  high-quality CAD models

  for jewellery/products as per design concepts and specifications.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure

  technical accuracy and manufacturability

  of designs.
• Prepare detailed

  2D technical drawings

  and

  3D renders

  for client presentations and approvals.
• Modify and update existing CAD files based on design changes or client feedback.
• Ensure the design meets

  production feasibility

  , including casting, stone setting, and polishing requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and trend-oriented jewellery/product designs.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of design files.
• Stay updated with current

  CAD trends, tools, and jewellery/product design innovations

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in

  Jewellery Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field

  .

• 1–3 years of experience

  as a CAD Designer (preferably in Jewellery or Product Design).
• Proficiency in

  Rhinoceros (Rhino), Matrix, ZBrush, or similar CAD software

  .
• Strong understanding of

  design dimensions, accuracy, and 3D modeling techniques

  .
• Good knowledge of

  manufacturing processes

  such as casting, 3D printing, and setting.
• Creative approach with a keen eye for

  details and aesthetics

  .

• Effective communication skills

  and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience in

  rendering software

  such as KeyShot, V-Ray, or Blender.
• Knowledge of

  jewellery trends, gemstones, and metal types

  .
• Understanding of

  E-commerce image standards

  for jewellery/product visuals.
