CAD Design Engineer

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Environmental Engineering

* Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills Must

* 6 months of CAD experience in water & wastewater and/or MEP projects.

* Knowledge of software tools for CAD design

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

* Knowledge of piping, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing layouts.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the engineering team to translate concepts into workable designs

* Prepare detailed drawings for STPs, ETPs, pump stations, piping layouts, electrical rooms, HVAC systems, etc.

* Develop precise 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings.

* Ensure all designs comply with industry and company standards.

* Modify and update existing designs based on feedback or specifications.

* Troubleshoot design challenges and suggest improvements.

* Perform material analysis to optimize design for sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

* Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and technical data.
