CA Trainee/Executive - Accounts & Finance

Core Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Budgeting

• Budget Management:

  Co-ordinate actively with various departmental heads to develop and finalize the

  framework for the yearly Budget

  .

• Performance Monitoring:

  Periodically monitor and analyze

  Budget vs. Actuals (BvA)

  performance, highlighting variances and preparing reports for management review.

2. Business & Project Analysis

• Strategic Assistance:

  Assist the

  Director Operations

  in analyzing few business segments, evaluating potential

  strategic alliances

  , and assessing contractual arrangements specifically from a

  taxation point of view

  .

• Project Reporting:

  Diligently prepare and present

  required project reports

  and financial updates for periodic sharing with

  JV partners

  .

3. Financial Reporting & MIS

• MIS Preparation:

  Prepare various detailed

  Accounts and Finance related MIS reports

  for efficient internal communication.

• Management Support:

  Directly assist the

  DGM Accounts and Finance

  with critical reporting requirements and ad-hoc analysis.

4. Treasury & Working Capital Management

• Cash Flow:

  Prepare and diligently update

  company-level cash flow statements

  and detailed

  site-wise cash flows

  on a

  week-on-week

  basis, specifically for

  JV entities

  .

• Daily Operations:

  Monitor other finance staff involved in daily operations,

  working capital management

  , and daily bank account reconciliations, preferably within the ERP system.

5. System Configuration & Innovation

• ERP Expertise:

  Engage

  independently

  in the configuration of the existing or a new

  ERP system

  to enhance accounting and reporting functions.

• Innovative Approach:

  Demonstrate an

  innovative and problem-solving approach

  to improve domain functions and financial processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Industry Experience:

  Minimum

  3-4 years of experience

  working specifically within the

  construction or infrastructure industry

  is mandatory.

• CA Status:

  CA Candidate, Inter-CA qualified, or CA Finalist.

• Technical Proficiency (Mandatory):

• Advanced MS Excel:

  High proficiency for modeling and data manipulation.

• Data Analysis:

  Strong capability in data analytics.

• Presentation Tools:

  Well-versed in

  MS PowerPoint

  and

  MS Power BI

  (or similar visualization tools).

• Core Competencies:

• Expertise in routine accounting and various

  tax compliances

  (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage

  working capital and cash flow

  .
• Demonstrated experience with

  ERP systems

  configuration and utilization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
