Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Review and monitor
branch-level accounting
, books of accounts, and statutory compliance.
Ensure accuracy of
day-to-day transactions, vouchers, and supporting documents
at branches
Verify adherence to
company SOPs, accounting policies, and internal controls
.
Ensure compliance with
GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements
at branch level.
Review GST reconciliations (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC matching) and follow up on discrepancies.
Review
inventory accounting, stock movement, and valuation
at warehouses and branches.
Review
debtors ageing, credit limits, and overdue management
at branch level.
Ensure adherence to credit policies and escalation of high-risk accounts.
Prepare and review
branch-wise MIS reports
, variance analysis, and exception reports.
Act as a
finance liaison
between branches and Head Office.
Prepare
audit reports, observations, and follow-up action trackers.
Travel extensively across
pan-India branch locations
as per audit and review plan.
Willingness and flexibility for
extensive travel.
Conduct on-site reviews, training, and handholding of branch finance teams.
Ensure consistent financial discipline across all locations.
