Description
Primary Skills Develop and maintain software applications using C++ with a focus on network transmission. Implement and optimize network protocols and features (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP). Troubleshoot and resolve software and network-related issues. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement software requirements. Write and maintain documentation for software and network components. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, and deployment. Strong understanding of network transmission protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, WebSockets). Expertise in socket programming and network communication in C++. Experience with multi-threading and concurrency in networked applications. Knowledge of low-level networking concepts (e.g., packet structure, latency, bandwidth, packet loss). Proficiency in C++ and modern C++ best practices. Experience with network libraries (e.g., Boost.Asio, libpcap, ZeroMQ). Experience in secure communication protocols (SSL/TLS, encryption standards). Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based environments for network application development. Experience in building high-performance, scalable network applications. Secondary Skills Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP). Experience with network security (e.g., SSL/TLS). Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark). Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures. Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Ability to optimize network performance (latency, throughput). Familiarity with agile development practices.
