Buyer,Staff

Flowserve is looking for a Buyer to help achieve our team goals by guaranteeing the purchase of sourced components and services at the best conditions of price, quality and deadlines, in accordance with recommendations of global Supply Chain Team. In this role you will be supporting the plant in procurement of Castings, Buy outs and Fabrication You will work on strengthening the alignment of the Company's Purchasing strategy and business strategy. Having the full ownership of the suppliers portfolio, you will work in close relationship with supply team to improve our delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring release of PO's to respective suppliers against PR's per LT guidelines
• Followup and get the OA's
• Align the supplier promise dates between Planning and suppliers
• Update ERP system on supplier promise dates against respective lines
• Follow up on orders placed to ensure on time delivery on both external suppliers and intercompany orders.
• Ensure On Time Delivery per KPI targets
• Coordination with logistics for pick up of ready parts
• Ensure smooth inwarding of goods
• Resolve and Invoice related issues
• Monitor and Improve supplier's performance
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues with the importing processes of goods to the local service center as well as coordination and problem solving for fulfilling contractual deliveries.
• Review of stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is held on site.
• And any other duties as assigned
• Lead and manage complete cycle of PR to Pay process
• Manage supplier's performance
• Maintain systems per ISO & EMS requirements
• Collaboration with relevant functions

Requirement

• BE in Mechanical Engineering with 8 - 12 years of Experience
• Strong knowledge on Castings, Buy outs and Fab commodities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency in Supply Chain Management
• Fluency in English
• Good understanding of all the main purchasing areas: Order management, Development of suppliers, supplier quality, logistics etc.
• Knowledge of the requirements of our markets
• Strong knowledge on ERP systems
• Ability to Influence, communicate and collaborate at all Organization levels
