With a prerequisite of 3 to 5 years of experience, the ideal candidate should hold a Graduation degree in fashion designing, preferably accompanied by a PG diploma or degree from esteemed institutions like NIFT, Pearl, or other top fashion institutes. The primary focus of this role is on candidates with prior experience in Men's Casual wear within the retail industry. An attractive salary package ranging from 10.00 to 12.00 Lacs per annum awaits the selected candidate, along with a standard 5-day work week schedule. Key responsibilities for this position include formulating and executing a comprehensive long-term plan and strategy for the development of the category. Further, building robust relationships with the buying, marketing, and merchandising teams is crucial. The role involves complete management of the category's top line and bottom line, alongside activities such as new brand or vendor acquisition, pricing strategy implementation, product portfolio management, and inventory control. Vendor management constitutes a significant aspect of the job, encompassing activities like vendor sourcing & management, as well as maintaining vendor relationships. Moreover, the role involves customer management, focusing on nurturing key customer relationships, developing diverse channels, and optimizing Omni channel sales through a blend of online and offline sales strategies. Proficiency in category analytics is essential for identifying growth opportunities and executing strategies effectively.
