Job Description

Key Responsibilities: - 1. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Adherence to negotiated favorable terms, pricing and delivery schedules. Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Onboard new suppliers, ensuring smooth integration into the procurement process. 2. Procurement and Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Monitor purchase order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely receipt and storage of products. Calculating and managing lead times to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts. 3. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs. Implement inventory control strategies to minimize excess stock and avoid shortages. Analyze sales data to forecast future demand and optimize purchasing decisions. 4. Cost Control and Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving initiatives. 5. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. Conduct quality inspections and address any quality issues promptly. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain high product standards. Qualifications and Skills: - - Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in procurement or buying, preferably in the beauty industry. - Strong understanding of the beauty industry, including product trends, brands, and suppliers. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in procurement software and systems. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
