You will be joining BDO India as an Assistant Manager in the Direct Tax department based in Gurgaon. As part of the Transfer Pricing team, your role will involve assisting in a variety of advisory engagements related to business model optimization, TP methodologies, cost allocations, etc. Your responsibilities will include preparing transfer pricing reports, filing accountant's reports, conducting benchmarking studies, drafting submissions, appeals, and representing clients before tax authorities and appellate bodies. Additionally, you will assist in compliance and advisory related to the BEPS initiative and contribute to research and analysis of transfer pricing technical points. Effective project management, client management, and time management are crucial aspects of this role. You will also be responsible for preparing presentations for knowledge building, training programs, and team building activities, as well as sharing knowledge and providing training to team members. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in a range of advisory engagements related to transfer pricing - Prepare transfer pricing reports and maintain contemporaneous documentation - File accountant's reports in Form 3CEB for cross-border transactions - Conduct benchmarking studies using Indian/foreign databases - Draft submissions, appeals, etc., for filing with tax authorities - Represent seniors/clients before the ITAT & HC and tax authorities - Assist in compliance and advisory tasks related to the BEPS initiative - Conduct research and analysis on transfer pricing technical points - Manage projects effectively, handle client relationships, and manage time efficiently - Prepare presentations for training and knowledge-building activities - Share knowledge and provide training to team members Qualifications: - At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in Transfer Pricing - CA/MBA qualification In this role, you are expected to demonstrate analytical capabilities, creative and innovative thinking, strong technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, persistence, and persuasive communication abilities.
