Business Manager

As a Business Manager (India) - Resin Trading Specialist at Stavian, your role will involve assessing and identifying new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a customer database by contacting, collecting inquiries, and sending offers regularly. Your duties will also include buying and selling plastic resins such as PP, PE, PET & PVC from Indian producers and distributors, as well as selling these resins to assigned existing and new customers. You will represent the company at meetings, conferences in India, and international trade shows to promote the company's trademarks and products. Additionally, you will maintain and develop relationships with Indian resin producers, assist the Branch Manager in monitoring logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations, conduct market research, prepare marketing reports, and devise marketing ideas and strategies to attract potential customers. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and identify new growth opportunities in current and prospective markets - Develop and maintain a customer database - Buy and sell plastic resins from Indian producers and distributors - Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and trade shows - Maintain relationships with Indian resin producers - Assist in monitoring logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations - Conduct market research and prepare marketing reports - Devise marketing ideas and strategies Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in Indian and international markets - In-depth understanding of the polymer market in India - Willingness to travel domestically and abroad for business trips - Knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations - Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or related fields.
