Job Description

As a Business Manager for the International Lending Business, you will play a crucial role in redefining how credit is delivered across markets. Your proactive approach, strong product thinking, and analytical depth will be key in taking end-to-end ownership of scaling international lending products. Thriving in fast-paced environments and enjoying building from zero to one will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Drive strategy and execution for international digital lending products including BNPL, consumer loans, SME lending, and cross-border credit. - Define product roadmap, write BRDs, and collaborate with engineering/ops to launch and optimize lending flows such as LOS, LMS, APIs, KYC, underwriting, and collections. - Own core lending metrics such as funnel conversion, approval rates, NPAs, unit economics, and RoI. Design experiments, run A/B tests, and make data-driven decisions. - Adapt products to local markets, regulatory frameworks, and customer needs across multiple countries for international expansion. - Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Risk, Legal, Data, Partnerships, and Operations to execute initiatives end-to-end. - Build and manage key relationships with fintech partners, NBFCs, banks, and regulators in international markets. - Contribute to the team culture by being proactive, accountable, outcome-focused, and displaying a high sense of ownership. Requirements: - 5-10 years of overall work experience with at least 3+ years in digital lending/credit/fintech. - Strong exposure to product management and analytics; proficiency in Excel & PPT is a must. - Hands-on experience with credit lifecycle stages such as acquisition, underwriting, disbursement, collections, and risk management. - Proven track record of driving business outcomes including growth, profitability, and risk control. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong aptitude and problem-solving ability with a data-first mindset. - Prior international or cross-border lending exposure is a strong plus. Nice-to-Haves: - Experience in partnerships with banks, NBFCs, and fintech companies. - Familiarity with underwriting models, bureau data, and alternative data signals. - Exposure to collections strategies and recovery models. - Ability to work with global teams and adapt to diverse regulatory landscapes.
