Role Overview: As the Business Lead Xpand at Interiors by DeX, located in Chennai, with 48 years of experience in interior design with premium sales exposure, you will be responsible for driving high-value sales conversions and ensuring timely push to production for premium residential interior projects ranging from 10-50 Lakhs. Your role will involve managing a senior design team, leading client interactions, negotiations, and closures, and maintaining premium design standards and execution timelines for Xpand (Premium) projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Ownership & Sales Management: - Receive qualified premium leads and handle the lead lifecycle end-to-end - Guide the team on client requirements, budget alignment, and design intent communication - Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and final closures - Maintain a high-quality sales pipeline and achieve sales targets - Team Leadership & Performance Management: - Manage a team of 1 Design Team Leader and 2 Lead Designers - Allocate leads strategically and drive individual designer targets - Monitor performance metrics and coach designers for timely target achievement - Design Coordination & Push to Production: - Ensure closed projects are promptly assigned and driven through the design team - Maintain design quality standards and drive timely design freeze - Push projects into production efficiently to meet targets - Timelines, Quality & Client Experience: - Maintain structured sales and design timelines - Ensure a premium client experience and balance between design excellence and delivery timelines - Process, Reporting & Coordination: - Coordinate closely with design, production, and execution teams - Track and report lead stages, sales conversion status, and production progress - Proactively flag risks, delays, or dependency issues Qualification Required: - Strong expertise in premium interior sales and design - Excellent negotiation and high-value client-handling skills - Proven people and team leadership capability - Strong commercial acumen and pricing understanding - Ability to perform under revenue pressure with accountability Additional Details: Interiors by DeX is seeking a decisive, organised, and closure-oriented leader who is a senior interior designer with strong premium sales exposure.
