Business Intelligence Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and Implement BI Solutions:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using

  Apache Superset

  and

  AWS QuickSight

  to meet business requirements.
• Utilize

  BI Publisher

  to create pixel-perfect reports and enhance reporting capabilities for various business units.

• Database and Query Optimization:

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure that the data warehouse is structured in a way that maximizes BI tool performance.

• Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze large datasets, providing actionable insights that drive business strategies and decisions.
• Create ad-hoc reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.

• Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, reporting processes, and overall performance.
• Minimum of

  5 - 6 years of experience

  as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in developing and managing

  BI Publisher

  reports.
• Solid experience with

  Apache Superset

  for building interactive dashboards and reports.
• Hands-on experience with

  AWS QuickSight

  for data visualization and reporting.

• Technical Skills

  :
• Strong knowledge of

  SQL

  for querying relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
• Familiarity with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Experience with

  data modelling

  and working with large datasets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
• Experience with data visualization best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Understanding of data governance and security practices.
