Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement sourcing plans for denim and non-denim categories, focusing on quality, cost, lead time, and sustainability.
Supplier Management:
Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers. Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality and ethical standards.
Cost Optimization:
Drive cost-efficiency through smart sourcing, budgeting, and vendor performance management.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure products meet brand and industry standards; manage audits and quality checks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with design, merchandising, production, logistics, and finance teams.
Market & Trend Analysis:
Monitor fabric trends, pricing, and innovations in denim and non-denim sourcing.
Sustainability:
Promote Eco-friendly sourcing practices and sustainable material use.
Team Leadership:
Mentor sourcing team and drive continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Textile Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in sourcing, with at least 5 years focused on the non-denim category in the apparel industry.
Strong network of non-denim suppliers and proven experience managing global supply chains for non-denim.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools; familiarity with digital sourcing platforms is a plus.
