Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Identify prospective customers, EPC contractors, architects, industrial consultants, solar rooftop project developers, builders, and Government bodies/agencies. 2. Attend all enquiries with promotion materials and information necessary to convert them into sales orders.3. Coordinate with prospective customers through various modes of communication and position product, Projects & services.4. Will be responsible for profitability of the solar vertical. Must meet both turnover and profit target set by the management.5. Schedule meetings with prospective customers and make necessary presentations to impact the decision patterns of moving to solar products and services. 6. Follow up periodically with prospective clients and ensures conversion of sales orders.7. Expand the extended network of solar EPC contractors, architects, consultants to improve the sales order pipeline.8. Identify and nominate strong dealers in consultation with Management for appointments.9. Ensure the dealers are continuously engaged and aligned with our products as brand ambassadors.10. Understand client requirements and coordinate with Tech team for feasibility of executing specific requirements. Also, coordinate with project teams for any queries and direct client specific queries on execution.11. Monitor sales & collection of assigned area/regions by reviewing the sales teams targets & performance.12. Must Present simple yet comprehensive data to management in the form of MIS on a monthly basis.13. Implements credit policy of the company, analyses outstanding payments, and follows-up with concerned dealers/customers for early realization of payments. Fixation of credit limits to each customer based on potential and actual sale movements. Exercise necessary controls for cases exceeding the credit limits.14. Plan for Transportation and optimal logistics plans for primary and secondary freight and ensure cost savings.15. Coordinate with project teams for after sales service activities and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders aimed at improving the satisfaction levels of customers.16. Support branding activities by collaborating on various initiatives such as web and print media designs, stall designs and other marketing communication materialsactivities.17. Coordinate with branding team for promotional campaigns.18. Maintain the database of market players/competition landscape and gather intelligence of customers/industry.19. Ensure timely coordination for collections, payments, promotional activities with the established dealer/ extended partner networks.20. Attend review meetings and provide necessary information on sales pipeline/orders/conversionsissues/receipts/payments, updates, etc., to top management.21. Scout for various empanelment opportunities with government agencies/industry bodies/association to improve the visibility of products and services.22. Scan for various RFP & bidding requirements in the market for solar roofing and coordinate with EPC Project teams for preparation of quotations and technical documentation of productsservices offered by us.

Required Skills:
1. Should have worked in the solar industry for minimum 5 years.2. Must possess high logical thinking ability.3. Must be a team leader and capable to lead the team.4. Good people skills to manage both ends of work. i.e., Customers and Dealers.5. Should have collaborative & flexible style of working.6. Robust risk management, Compliance & Governance skills.7. Independent decision-making ability within defined policy framework.8. Experience in using Advanced Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word.9. Strong communication and negotiation skills.10. Experience in SAP/ERP is an added advantage.
