Business Development

As a Business Development Manager, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities including: - Visiting bakery & ice-cream clients to explain products and their applications - Conducting sales visits, taking orders, and monitoring supply management - Solving technical problems at bakery/ice-cream production sites - Utilizing technical personnel efficiently to focus on specific products and generate orders - Organizing events and promotions in the assigned territory to boost sales - Reporting daily and submitting monthly work records in a systematic manner - Participating in national exhibitions as required by the company - Travelling 15-20 days per month within the assigned zone/territory for sales - Ensuring appropriate stock levels at dealer points - Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating them with business operations - Maintaining confidentiality to protect the organization's value Your communication skills will be essential for tasks such as: - Following up on new business opportunities and scheduling meetings - Planning and preparing presentations - Communicating new product developments to prospective clients - Supervising the development of marketing literature - Writing reports and providing feedback to management Qualifications required for this role include: - Good communication and management skills - Graduation or MBA in Marketing - Experience in the bakery/ice-cream industry is preferred - Strong business acumen - Deep understanding of marketing principles - Positive attitude and negotiation skills - Attention to detail and good listening skills - Knowledge of business operations - Proficiency in MS Office - Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with day shift schedule and an in-person work location in Trivandrum.,
