Job Description

You will play a crucial role in building a strong positioning for the company, consulting with clients to gather project requirements, defining solutions, negotiating and closing business relationships. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing a consultative approach to clients by researching industry events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors, and their accomplishments. - Identifying and proposing potential business deals by contacting partners, exploring opportunities, and analyzing available technologies and solutions. - Screening potential business deals by proposing marketing strategies, gathering project requirements, identifying business potential, providing suggestions and recommendations, financials, and evaluating options. - Developing negotiating strategies aligned with company operations, examining risks and potentials, estimating client needs and goals. - Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations. - Maintaining confidentiality to protect the organization's value. - Updating job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, personal networking, and participation in professional organizations. - Enhancing the organization's reputation by taking ownership of new requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skills required for this role include: - Minimum 4 years of experience as a Web-based Business Development Manager. - Generating new leads and business for web-based services through online bidding portals like Elance. - Involvement in the complete sales process from bidding to deal closure. - Active engagement with clients through calls to discuss, negotiate, and finalize deals. - Proficiency in email writing. - Meeting sales targets and generating revenues for the organization. - Cold calling leads/prospects in a Business-to-Business sales environment with excellent telephone manners and tactfulness. - Increasing business volume from existing clients by pitching new services at different times. - Acting as a catalyst between clients and the development team. - Handling existing and new clients for cross-selling and up-selling. - Working with a team of developers and managers to implement full project lifecycle development. - Managing prospects and clients throughout the project development lifecycle. - Building and maintaining healthy business relations with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction by achieving delivery and service quality norms. - Ensuring quick resolution of queries and grievances to maximize client satisfaction levels.,
