Job Description

Key missions of the position:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for all new opportunity in TSG segment (service/ spares/ parts).

The person should have responsibility to deliver the result of 30M$ during 2026 and contribute 25-30% on overall order intake during the strap period. Customer intimacy is a key factor, person should be in a position to showcase the technical sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify Market opportunity
  • Establish value to customer (Technical and commercial)
  • Generate Prospects
  • Offer Submission
  • Tender release
  • Purchase order
  • Major Responsibility:
  • Identify market opportunity based on customer pain point.
  • Work cross functionally and create value proposition to customer on technical grounds.
  • Solution for customer paint point
  • Generate prospects
  • Work with sales team for offer submission and fund allocation proposal to customer.
  • Budgetary Quote & Follow-up
  • Preparation and submission of E.Bid Offer to Railways and Customers
  • Maintain and circulate the tender details to stake holders every week for follow-up
  • Work very closely with engineering & Product line for customer solution
  • Work cross functional on execution and create reference in the market
  • Coordination with production planning team in accordance to PO, DP and customer requirement (DMP Planning)
  • Follow-up and collect MA,DP, LOI/L-1 with regional team & Customer
  • Communication to Customer on Quires and issues through regional team
  • Contract review, RDSO inspection and dispatch.
  • Maintain Sales Register
  • Install base Analysis
  • Market potential + Market share Analysis.
  • Competition Analysis
  • KPI and Governance
  • To Achieve Order intake
  • To Achieve Sales
  • No LD
  • Marker Share improvement in P2,P3 & P4.
  • Adherence to budget and governance through Bowler file
  • Skill sets necessary to succeed in this role
  • Should have knowledge in Tendering & Business Management
  • Should have experience in Indian Railway
  • Work along with cross functional Team
