Job Description

Job Objective:

The objective of a Business Development Manager, Expediting is to identify, initiate, and convert business opportunities by acquiring clients for the Expediting business vertical. The role is focused on accelerating the sales process, enabling faster conversions, and ensuring alignment between client needs and the companys offerings.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Research prospective accounts within targeted industry segments and regions to identify and qualify leads.
  • Understand and articulate the company’s products, platform capabilities, and value proposition in client-facing interactions.
  • Promote the company’s products/services by addressing client objectives, resolving queries, and providing timely follow-ups to maintain momentum in the sales cycle.
  • Coordinate and optimize the client acquisition process by creating and maintaining SOPs, checklists, and documentation.
  • Liaise between clients and internal teams (sales, product, and operations) to ensure timely onboarding and alignment with client expectations.
  • Prepare tailored business proposals and pitch decks in response to client requirements.
  • Support and drive the execution of sales campaigns and outreach initiatives to ensure a consistent lead pipeline.

An Ideal candidate

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Business Development and Sales in Inspection/Expediting or Manufacturing Industry.
  • Understanding of project supply chain management, specifically inspection and expediting services will be a major advantage.
  • Proven sales track record and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Should be target driven and able to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines.
