Job Description

Key Responsibilities


Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for VAS Optical Emission Spectrometers (OES) and related analytical solutions in the assigned territory.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Market Development

  • Expand market presence by targeting metal industries, foundries, auto component manufacturers, and allied sectors.
  • Organize demos, seminars, webinars, and customer visits to showcase VAS products.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry influencers.
  • Provide technical and commercial support during presales and after-sales phases.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit timely reports on sales funnel, competitor activities, market feedback, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager, Service Team, and Head Office for proposal preparation, order processing, and post-sales support.

Territory Management

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with regional objectives.
  • Travel extensively within Pune, Mumbai, and adjoining areas.

Requirements


Education:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent.
  • MBA in Marketing/Sales (preferred).

Experience:

  • 4-8 years of proven B2B sales experience in capital equipment/instruments, preferably in spectrometers, analytical instrumentation, or metal testing equipment.

Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding of spectrometers or analytical instruments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to generate leads independently and close deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and basic digital marketing concepts.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
