Profile: BDM ( Upwork Expert)

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Mohali district for a Business Development Manager. The primary responsibilities include identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategic plans for market expansion. The role also involves analyzing market trends, preparing proposals and sales presentations, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.

Location: Mohali

Expertise: Upwork ( IT services )

Shift: US Shift (4 hours in office, remaining US Timezone shift from home)

Qualifications

  • Experience in Business Development, Sales Strategy, and Client Relationship Management
  • Lead generation through Upwork and other relevant channels
  • Client communication, proposal writing, and project bidding
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth
  • Skills in Market Analysis, Proposal Preparation, and Sales Presentations
  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Networking skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
  • Experience in the technology or IT services industry

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a BDM (IT services background preferred)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Upwork bidding and client handling
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

NOTE: Ability to work in a US shift (partial office, partial remote)
