As a Business Development Manager for Plant & Machinery, you will work on-site in Gurugram. Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and devising strategies to enhance market share. Daily tasks will involve researching market trends, creating proposals, negotiating contracts, and liaising with engineering teams to ensure adherence to technical requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring competitors and ensuring customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. It is imperative to have prior experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management. Previous business development experience in the Machinery & Industrial Equipment, Consumables & Raw materials sector is crucial. You should possess the ability to spot and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends, along with strong negotiation, presentation, and proposal writing skills. Collaborative skills with engineering teams and a deep understanding of technical requirements are essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines are required.
