Business Development Manager

Experience: 5 to 10+ years in B2B SaaS sales (HR Tech / Recruiting / HCM preferred)

Role Summary

Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for HR and recruiting software

Manage mid-market and enterprise sales using a consultative approach

Own and close complex, end-to-end sales cycles

Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities

Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue targets

Conduct product demos and solution presentations

Understand client HR and talent acquisition challenges and map solutions

Sell ATS, CRM, onboarding, payroll integrations, performance, and analytics solutions

Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and implementation teams

Handle RFPs, RFIs, pricing, and contract negotiations

Build relationships with CHROs, HR Heads, and TA leaders

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Track pipeline, forecasts, and performance in CRM tools

Monitor HR tech market trends and competitors

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience selling HR Tech / Recruiting / SaaS solutions

Strong knowledge of HR and talent acquisition processes

Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills

Experience with mid-market and enterprise clients

Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles

Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience selling to US, UK, or global markets

Background working with HR leaders or staffing firms

Knowledge of HR compliance and data security (GDPR, SOC2)

MBA or equivalent qualification
