Job Description:
*Position Title*: Business Development Manager *Department*: Business Development *Location*: Noida *Job Summary:* The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding relationships with existing clients for the advertising agency. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. The BDM will work closely with the marketing, creative, and account management teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and solutions for clients. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Business Growth:* - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calls, events, and online platforms. - Develop and implement strategies to target new client sectors and expand the agencys market presence. - Manage and build relationships with potential clients, key decision-makers, and inuencers. 2. *Client Relationship Management:* - Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and opportunities for further business. - Act as the main point of contact for key clients and ensure their needs are addressed promptly and eectively.
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure seamless project execution and client
expectations are met. 3. *Proposal & Pitch Development:* - Create and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients. - Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized advertising solutions that meet client needs and goals. - Negotiate contracts and terms of business with clients. 4. *Market Research and Analysis:* - Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities. - Analyze customer needs and competitors strategies to position the agency eectively in the marketplace. - Track industry developments and propose new services that could benet clients and the agency. 5. *Sales Target Achievement:* - Set and meet sales targets, ensuring business development goals are aligned with the agencys overall growth objectives. - Report on sales metrics, pipeline status, and progress toward goals to senior management. - Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring timely follow- ups and smooth transition to project delivery. 6. *Collaboration:* - Work closely with creative, media, and account management teams to deliver eective advertising campaigns for clients. - Collaborate with the marketing team to create awareness of the agencys capabilities through marketing initiatives and events.
7. *Reporting:*
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and potential leads in the CRM system. - Provide regular updates to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities in the pipeline. *Qualications:* - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related eld (Masters preferred). - Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management, ideally within an advertising or creative agency. - Strong understanding of advertising trends, digital marketing, branding, and media channels. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Strong networking abilities and experience building client relationships. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Procient in using CRM software and Microsoft Oice Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). *Skills & Attributes:* - Proactive and results-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients and internal teams. - Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas and solutions for clients. - Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Have worked with Japanese Clients - Should be from Advertising Industry
