Job Overview:
Hotel Vivek is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel or resort sales and will be responsible for expanding our customer base, boosting revenue, and creating strategic partnerships within the travel and hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute effective sales strategies aligned with hotel business goals.
• Establish and nurture relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and event planners.
• Promote group bookings, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), and leisure packages.
• Market hotel services for weddings, corporate events, and wellness retreats.
• Ensure client satisfaction through personalized engagement and post-sales support.
• Collaborate closely with front office, reservations, and operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel or resort sales (mandatory).
• Strong professional network in the hospitality and travel industry.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Goal-oriented with a proven record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Familiarity with the local market and tourism patterns in and around Coonoor/Ooty.
